It has been quite awhile since I have made any entries to our blog. This is at the Allegro Rally we attended in February 27th thru March 4th. This is Trez getting our motorhome sign ready to hang, that we purchased in Branson, Mo last October. We were parked next to our Red Bay buddies, Jim and Jacque. From here we went to the Gainesville area and spent four nights.

What a Hoot!!! Here I am taking a drivers course at the Allegro Rally. Trez said I did a great job driving!!! Not anything like driving a car!!

March 28th thru April 2nd. We attended the Wauchula Gyro-rotor air show. Trez has been going to this airshow for the last 6 years, but has never been able to spend alot of time there. He usually would leave early in the morning for the 2 hour drive to Wauchula Airport, spend a few hours there and then drive back home. Now, with Suite-P, he was able to take in the whole show.

We rescued a baby fox squirrel that had been abandoned by its mother while we were at the airshow. We named it "Chulie". When we got home we gave it to a wildlife caretaker. This was the cutest little thing!!!

We arrived home yesterday around 11:00 am. Trez has really become a pro at backing Suite P into the driveway. It's like threading a needle. There are two brick columns and a mailbox on each side of the driveway, and he puts her right down the middle. It must be all that airplane taxiing he did, because he certainly hasn't lost his touch. It will take a few days to unload and get settled back in. Before we know it, we will want to hit the road again. We enjoy this way of traveling, and hope to be on the road again soon!!!

Our last cook out before getting home. Trez has really become quite the Bar B Q er!! Can't wait until we start our next trip. Should be getting home around the 4th of November. Our son Jody, will be having his tonsils removed on the 8th and I want to make sure we are home in time so we can take care of him while he recuperates.

I wanted to see the Clinton Library. Trez agreed to drop me off and wait while I looked inside. This is one place he did not want to walk in to. There was a $7 admission fee, which I really did not want to pay. I asked the security guard if it was worth the money to see. He was kind enough to show me to an elevator to bypass purchasing a ticket. I wonder if he let me in because of the "blue dress" I was wearing??? Just kidding. I couldn't spend too much time inside, knowing I was keeping Trez waiting. I did find a few things quite interesting.

Greetings from Missouri....Have not had internet for the longest time. We are sitting in Panera where wi fi is available. Just a short post to let you know we have been in the Branson, MO area for over two weeks. We absolutely love this place. I will add pictures and a further update when I can spend time at the computer. We are having a wonderful time. The changing of the leaves and all the color is gorgeous. Just love the Ozarks!!!

I have added a few more decorations. Look closely and you will see our new pet. It seems as though everyone is traveling with a pet, so we decided to get one. This is digger...easiest pet we have ever had. He does make those that pass by chuckle!!! Don't have to feed or walk him. Just put him out and he stays in one place.

Our second night in MO. We are staying at Table Rock State Park. This is just one of Trez's specialties he has prepared from the grill. I call it veggie grill fry...potatoes, onions, red pepper, garlic, mushrooms. Has a wonderful smokey flavor!!

Today is our 33rd wedding anniversary. We will be here in Tunica, MS, for four nights. Don't you just love my fall decorations!! If you look real close, you will see I even have a bale of hay. I wanted to get a normal size, but Trez said that there has to be a limit of what I want to carry around. Trez is in heaven here. We have WI FI, satellite TV, Cable TV, Cement Level Pad, grass all around. Only thing missing are the angels flying around.

WE ARE LEAVING RED BAY!!!!! We have been here for 22 days, and are looking forward to seeing what is out there besides this place. We are going to meet our neighbors from home, Bruce and Nini Wilson in Tunica, MS. We have changed our travel plans. We have decided to travel out west and north west this March. Right now the only plan we have is going to Branson, MO and then from there, we have no idea where we will go. Just going to play it by ear.

This is Jim and Jacque Crehan, our Red Bay neighbors for the past three weeks. They are now "full timers". Sold their home in Baton Rouge and plan on traveling around the country. We will meet up with them again at a Rally the end of February. Really a nice couple.

This is the Paint Bay. Believe it or not, we ended up sleeping in this garage. They needed an extra day, so instead of driving back to the main area, we just stayed in our Suite. Not a fun evening..

Day 17 at Red Bay...We have decided to flee for the weekend. We are going to drive back to the campground we stayed at in Cullman, AL. It has been three weeks since we have had to add any fuel to Suite-P. Boy has the price of diesel escalated!!! Trez is looking forward to being able to have internet, and so am I.

This is "Swamp John's" one of the favorite eating places in Red Bay. They have a catfish buffet on Thursday. They serve over 1000 people on Thursday. This is really something, since the population of Red Bay is only 3,400.

This is Keven, another one of our techs. We ended up in Bay # 29 for three days. On October 3rd, Suite-P goes back for a new roof cap. When Suite-P was first manufactured, the first 150, were made with a flawed roof cap. They are replacing the cap on Monday, paint shop on Tuesday, and then we will finally leave RED BAY....

Day #13 at Red Bay.....After the sun goes down everyone gets out to mingle and find out everyone else's problems. We have already eaten at all the restaurants in town. Have put more mileage on the car we are towing than what we have put on the motorhome. We have been north, south, east and west. Have hit all the Wal-marts and grocery stores around. Our biggest thrill is going to McDonalds so we can connect to the internet. We have met quite a few nice couples that we have gotten together with. Hopefully our turn for the "bay" will be coming soon!!!

Well, today is our eighth day and still waiting. Next time we need anything done to Suite-P we will have an appointment. Have been told they now have a six month waiting period for appointments. Before leaving here, we darn sure will make one for next May, surely something will need to be fixed. When we are finished up here, we will be heading for Tunica, MS for a few days, then on up to South Dakota, over to Glacier Park, down thru Utah, over to Nevada and then take the southern route home. It really is the wrong time of the year for the upper west to see alot of the area. I'm already giving Trez static for wanting to do Glacier, but one of our sitting buddies here is from Montana, and he says there should be no problems. A few roads may be closed, but warnings are put out. Please keep in touch with us....

Well, here we sit in Red Bay, AL...sit and sit and sit and sit......arrived on Wednesday, and were told it would be a week to 10 days before we could be helped. This is Trez with Norris. Norris is the guy that goes over your list. He is someone you want to make friends with!!!! This is the first time I have had internet. Right now I am in a McDonalds parking lot that has wi fi...5 days without internet....not good Going to update my blog with just a few pictures of our daily happenings.

Arrived Cullman, AL. Trez is getting rid of the many bugs that no longer live in Florida and Alabama. We plan on staying here for 4 nights, and then on to Red Bay, AL (where Suite-P was born) to have her checked over.

Just got our new tag....Came just in time for our first adventure!!! We named our new baby Suite-P because it reminds of our own personal suite, and the P is for the make of the motorhome...Phaeton.
